RULES & REGULATIONS
- All competing dancers must check in before prelims begin. You may register & check-in at the door from 7pm.
- All competitors must be present during all battle rounds.
- All Dance Styles welcome.
PRELIM ROUND
- Each competitor’s name will be called.
- You have up to 90 seconds to dance.
- You may take a much or as little of the time as needed.
TOP 16 & TOP 8 ROUNDS
- Two competitors names will be called.
- 1 song will be played.
- Each competitor may take 1 turn dancing.
- You may take a much or as little of the time as needed.
- When both dancers have danced, the round ends.
SEMI FINAL & FINAL ROUNDS
- Two competitors names will be called.
- 2 different songs will be played.
- Each competitor may take 1 turn dancing to each song.
- You may take a much or as little of the time as needed.
- When both dancers have danced, the round ends.
DISQUALIFICATIONS (DQ)
| Harmful Behavior | Harmful and unnecessary interactions to other dancer or audience members result in a DQ (i.e. Jumping over, Kicking over, Flipping over, etc) |
| Poor Sportsmanship | Being purposefully disruptive or distracting to your opponent will result in a DQ |
Floor Alterations* | Altering the floor in any manner will result in a DQ (Baby Powder, Rosin, Water, Glitter, Etc) *Powder may be applied outside the main floor. |
